Dental Veneers

Reclaim your confidence and beautiful smile with natural-looking porcelain veneers designed for a transformative result.

Versatile Solutions for a Stunning, Flawless Smile

Dental veneers are customized shells bonded to the front of your teeth to address a variety of imperfections, including discoloration, uneven gaps, and chipped or worn-down enamel. At Stonehaven Dental, Dr. Timothy Matthews uses precision and careful attention to detail to ensure your results are stunning yet natural. By removing a minimal amount of enamel and utilizing digital scans for custom fabrication, we create a seamless look that enhances your overall appearance and restores the best version of your smile.

Dental Veneers

Natural and Realistic Appearance

Porcelain veneers are customized to match your teeth’s color, shape, and size, providing results so realistic that they are virtually indistinguishable from natural teeth.

Superior Stain Resistance

Unlike natural enamel, porcelain is non-porous, meaning your veneers won't easily absorb stains from coffee, tea, soda, or tobacco.

Rapid Smile Transformation

While other cosmetic treatments can take months to show progress, dental veneers provide dramatic, life-changing results in just a few weeks and a few appointments.

Minimally Invasive and Durable

We preserve as much of your natural tooth structure as possible by removing only a tiny fraction of enamel, resulting in a durable restoration that can last 10-15 years or longer.

Questions

Find answers to common concerns about whitening treatments and what to expect.

What imperfections can dental veneers fix?

Veneers are highly versatile and can address oddly shaped or sized teeth, stubborn discoloration, uneven gaps, mildly crooked or crowded teeth, and chipped or worn-down enamel.

How many appointments are required for the procedure?

Placing dental veneers typically requires two to three appointments, covering the initial consultation, tooth preparation and digital scanning, and the final bonding of your custom veneers.

Is the process painful?

The procedure is minimally invasive, involving the removal of only 0.3-0.5mm of enamel. While you may experience some mild, short-lived sensitivity after the permanent veneers are bonded, the process is generally very comfortable.

How long do porcelain veneers last?

Porcelain veneers are very durable and can last between 10 to 15 years or longer, provided you maintain good oral hygiene, attend regular dental checkups, and wear a mouthguard if you grind your teeth.

What happens while I wait for my permanent veneers?

After your teeth are prepped and scanned, Dr. Matthews will place temporary veneers. These protect your teeth and maintain your aesthetics while your custom permanent veneers are being fabricated at our partner lab.
